This playlist contains songs that are soulful, poppy, and (in some cases) rocking. By “pop” I mean they were actual hits, or at least are/were popular radio tracks. Many of these songs could also accurately be called “blue eyed soul,” i.e. white guys playing soulful music (though not all of these artists are white).
